Steve Klapp (cue maker) out of Charlotte,NC will be visiting New York City this weekend Friday12/27-Sunday 12/29. He will be bringing a beautiful variety of recently built cues for sale. For those of you not familiar with Steve's work this would be a good opportunity to check it out. Steve also does the best refinish & restoration work in the business, so if you're in need of these services at a KILLER PRICE this is your chance.

On Friday night 12/27 Steve will be hanging with myself (Brian Marshall) and my girlfriend (Emily Duddy whom he sponsors) at Amsterdam Billiard Club in NYC (110 E.11th St Between 3rd & 4th Aves). If you can't make it to Amsterdam, but are in the NYC area and are looking for a great new cue or a refinish you can contact me to arrange a meeting at (347) 225-5821.

Steve's making me my Christmas present...the perfect shaft. I highly recommend Steve, excellent in all respects.
 
I am tempted to drive up and say hi to him, although it's a 3.5 hour drive for me. He gave my son a free short cue when he was 8 (my son not Steve :) ) and it's one of the milestones in my son's life of playing pool that ended up with him becoming the MA State champion. I think if he did not get that nice cue he would not have kept up as much interest in the game.

I'll have to talk to the wife about taking a drive over with my son, if we go, I'll contact you to make sure he will there there when I can be.

Is there parking around the Amsterdam? I have only been there once and I think it was at their old location as I am pretty sure they moved since then.
 
Yes there is parking. It has moved to a location where parking is more available

I do have the cue, I keep looking for another young player that would make good use of it, but all the kids I know in the junior league have cues already.

Will he be in Amsterdam only Friday? If we go, it probably won't be till Sunday.
 
He'll still be in town Sunday and will most likely be in jersey or Staten Island
