i recently completed a deal with joe of bama cues and recieved a 4 point klein cue with ivory joint and leather wrap.first off dealing with joe was fun and easy.great guy to deal with.i told him i would write a little review as to how this cue plays and the quality.first off ,the leather wrap was not great, i may contact steve to see if he can fix.with that out off the way ,the rest of the cue was very nice.great wood,nice points,nice all the way around HIGH quality.i play with a bluegrass as my everyday cue,but i played with the klein the day i got it and it plays awsome.the hit was great and the shafts seem to have very little deflection.overall the cue plays lights out.i had never hit with one and thought it would be a worth a try.man i'am glad i did.i would highly reccomend his cues.a diamond in the rough.it seems like right after i got mine i seen a few more go up for sale.to all concerned,they play great imo.i may have him make me another.thanks and i hope someone else will make the same great choice i did.

I agree with your observations about Steve Kleins cues. There is a bunch of them in play here in my neck of the woods. The owners of them rave about the feel of the cue and how well the shafts play. I've been able to play with 2 of them and I was impressed. The guy that owns one of the cues says Klein cores his forerarms and that's why the hit so smooth.
 
I have two, and also completed a great deal with Joe of Bamacues on a semi-fancy bacote sneaky pete with buffalo horn joint and let me tell you. Man, steve has really outdone himself on this cue. I have *never* hit with a cue that feels this good. It's just an extension of my arm.

I tell you what, he's really made(and still making) a name for himself in the world of cue crafting.
