Stevie Moore -v- Louis Ulrich @ The Pool Room

Was raining outside and very humid. Air conditioning was sweating and a drop from that hit him on top of his head. Louis expression was quite funny.

If there's nothing better than double dipping your opponent in the finals then I guess there's nothing worse than being double dipped! Oh well. I played about as well as I could and things just didn't go my way. Stevie played great the whole tourney and really came with it in our match.

Thanks to all who were pulling for me. :)

Louis,

Sorry to interpupt the discussion, but did a relative of yours (father?) used to work for Brunswick?

No, and if there is an Ulrich that worked for Brunswick, he is not related to me as far as I know.

Louis, congrats on such a great finish. I was there to watch the match and was fascinated at the high caliber of play that both you and Stevie possess. It definitely could have gone either way. I watched the whole match and noticed that every time one of you got to the table with it being open you were out. The only time that one of you got to the table and didn’t get out was when Stevie missed three rail shape and found himself behind one of your balls. Some how he was able to cut the one ball backwards to the side pocket and just missed it by a hair. Ohh yea, and the final game where he was able to play a wonderful safety where you had to kick at one of your balls as the only other time during the 18 games where one of you just flat got out after the break. I noticed twice you broke and scratched and twice Stevie jumped the cue ball off of the table leaving both of you with ball in hand. If any of those errors didn’t take place it could have been a different outcome.

What did you think of The Pool Room?
