Sticky thread on weekly tournament info?

I've been kicking this thought around and I'm interested in what you all think.

I think it would be a great resource if we could compile some information from AZ members about weekly tournaments all over the country. I'm not talking about tours or big money events, just the local $10 entry weekly 9-ball gigs, etc.

I'd be willing to assemble the information if people submitted it. I know I find myself wondering what tournaments are around if I felt like traveling a little or if I happened to be out of town.

Any thoughts? Any contributors? Suggestions on format? If this thread grows I can sort by Game, then by Day, etc.

For starters, within a few miles of my house are the following:

Name: Bar Leucadian
Location: Leucadia, CA
Day: Monday, ~8pm
Game: 8-ball
Buy-in: $10
Format: Double elimination

Name: Pacific Q
Location: Encinitas, CA
Day: Wednesday, ~7pm
Game: 9-ball
Buy-in: $10
Format: Handicapped, Double Elimination

Actually a better idea (IMHO) would be to have a seperate forum, with city-specific threads started by a local, who can edit them as new info pops up.

One big thread for weekly tournaments across the country would be too dang big.

I think there is already a section dedicated to tournament announcements. Im sure a weekly tourny thread in there would be a great idea.
