The International Pool Tour series is a breakthrough in televised pool. The “IPT King of the Hill 8-Ball Shootout” was produced by the International Pool Tour in association with A. Smith & Company, the executive producers of network hits such as “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Skating with the Stars” and many major television sports events including pro football".
It is just a few weeks before the airing of the first tournament on OLN and still it is a big secret. I watch OLN, I like the gun shows but unless I have missed it, and that is certainly possible, I haven't seen one promo for the KOTH. This is, I would suspect, their defining moment, where they are going to show advertisers people will watch pool and their reality show concept.
Do they really expect people to just find it by chance on what is at this time an obscure channel that few people watch or even know exists? They should be buying ad's on every network at this point promoting it. This forum may be the only place anyone will ever know it is taking place, I don't really understand.
