`Stolen Cognoscenti

daytonajoe

Deceased
A very unique cog was stolen this past weekend in Chicago. It is cocobolo with amboyna segmented handle, has all the fancy inlays and the young lady it was stolen from is in shock. She is obtaining pics from Joey and they will be posted here soon.

If anyone happens to hear about its where abouts contact myself or Eydie Romano via pm or e mail...

A reward is offered for its return with no questions asked

Holy crap!!!!! A segmented handled Cog is a SERIOUS cue! Sorry to hear a dirtbag thief has stolen such a cue.......and will pass the word around both here and back home (very near Chicago, over the Indiana border).

That just really pisses me off!! I had my cues stolen years ago with the very first cue I made in the case. It makes my blood boil whenever I hear about some P. O. S. stealing one. I would keep an eye out on ebay and the other cue auction sites. Hope you find the cue. Even better I hope you find the cue and the person who stole it.

That makes me sick! I had a pair of Custom made Jensen joint protectors stolen from my case, so I can partially sympathize. But a whole Cognescenti, that is unreal!

Arrgggg.....I wish her luck in tracking it down!

Thanks everyone for keeping a look out for my cue. Here's my reward flyer with pics.

So maybe there should be color flyers made available for the SBE event?

Barbara, that is an excellent idea. Hopefully the cue will be found/returned by then, but if not then I will get dozens of them to pass around.

Eydie,

Don't forget to hit the cuemakers and cue collectors. Just posting flyers around may scare off the thief. You want to be a little stealthy on this one.
