Storage Safe Question

Currently, I have a small but growing collection of cues. While I do have a gun safe, I store it in my garage. Of course in Indiana temperatures vary from season to season.

I am wanting to purchase another safe for my cues. Do most of you AZ members keep them in a safe? Is a safe, inside a climate controlled house the way to go? I have seen the cordless dehumidifiers that are made for safes, would that be necessary?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Temperature and humidity control is ideal, but not possible for everyone. As long as they are kept within a decent range, then it is ok. Cordless dehumidifiers are ideal. Temperature and humidify gauges are nice. There have been several discussions about this in the past. Do a search, I'm sure you'll find a few.

I stored some cues in this safe. I never had any problems.....temp was always constant..

Thanks for the replies. Currently, I have a Stack-on Home Defense model fire/water resistant safe in the garage. I'm looking at the same safe but in there 40" model. Should be perfect for cues IMO

From a temperature stand-point, keep them in the house.
From an anti-theft stand-point, the gun safe is probably your best bet.
