What would be the best way to store some high end tips for long term?
My first idea was to vacume seal them in little packages. But after talking to Jack Justis he told me that leather needs to breath so now I'm not so sure that's a good idea. I plan to retire in the Philippines where the weather is very hot most of the time. Can anyone give me some ideas on what would be the best way to store some tips for a very long time. Thanks for any help.

Freezer bags and then put inside a 3 or 5 gallon bucket with sealed lid . Should be fine even if you buried in the ground . As far as breathing , I don't think so . Exposed to humidity and temp change would do the most damage . I've got old Le Pros that are over 25 years old that are great and they are the ones Buddy Hall , Efren Reyes , and Nick Varner luv !!! I've also got some of the original Moori's and they're all just fine . Good luck ...;)

are u sure

They may look fine but from what many people have said mooris dry out and get really hard fast. I'm sure the lapro's are fine as they are coated. From what I understand leather needs to breath. I'm not so sure a closed container is the best idea.

Would you be interested in selling me a few of the original Moori's ??

Thanks

Thanks for the info. One thing I learned on my first trip to the Philippines from a filipina that was sitting next to me on the flight. When you go through customs put a few pesos in your passport when you hand it to them. I put 1,000 pesos every time I go and I have never had anyone look at my bags. Where in manila can you get these different tips? And what do you think the cost is? Thanks

Does anyone know what the best moisture or humidity level for tips would be. Cigars can be stored indefinitely if properly humidified and the temperature is controlled properly.
