try G-cue theres a lot of strong players there im sure you're bound to find some strait pool players, i remember seeing some old men playing strait pool on a table by the door

It's sad, but true. Str8 Pool players in Austin is practicly non-existant.

G-Cues
Who's he calling old? You can always find a 14-1 game at G-Cues during the day from noon to four. Look to the left when you walk in, there are several retired guys (not old) that will give you a game, just ask.

Dallas/Ft. Worth appox 3 hrs from Austin
If you ever come up to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area let me know. I'll shoot some games of Straight with you. We do not have to be "Old & play by a door" either to enjoy Straight Pool. LOL.....

I rarely ever go the DFW area. It's a long drive.
But since the old lady's mother is moving in, I may be able to find some excuses for some weekend trips to DFW....sightseeing or some crap like that...lol.
I've got a trip to San Antonio coming up soon. The old lady and mother are going to some blah,blah,whatever...and I get to check out some pool halls in SA.
