If you're not familiar with Strachan, it's made by Milliken & Companty, at the Logdemore Mills plant located in Glouchestershire, U.K. They're website is http://www.milliken-wsp.co.uk/Pool/Pages/Pool.aspx. (comparable to Simonis 4000, but in my opinion a superior cloth). This cloth is treated against liquid spills with "Spill Guard". Milliken treats the wool before the fabric is wooven. To ensure it doesn't effect the playability of the cloth, and to mantain a consistant playing surface. To my knowledge Millikien was the 1st to use this process. Strachan is the official cloth of the Internaional Billiards And Snooker Federation.
