Straight pool thoughts and a question

that just totally pisses me off when i'm in NYC.........getting up at 7 every damn day to move my truck to the other side of the street

Try parking in Brooklyn or Queens (I'm not recommending you leave your truck on the street in the Bronx, unless you're WAY overinsured), then you've only got to move it once a week.

Are there any 7 footers that have pocket characteristics of a 9 footer?

.

7-foot Diamond tables seem to be the same pocket width and depth as the 9-footers. I like 'em!

On a 9 footer you use the foot end and side pockets most but avoid long shots to the head end. On a bar table you use all corners but avoid narrow angles to the side pockets. On either table clusters at the foot end of course is not desirable but especially so on bar tables. From my point of view each table requires different strategies, in other words don't take your bar box game to a big table or vise-versa.
