I have been playing my ass off lately trying to burn this stroke into my brain. I figured out 2 of my problems. First off I was not hitting the cueball square. I have to align my body a little differently because the cue is in a different line now. Secondly I was not staying down in my shots. (don't ask why) Anyway I was running 4 consistantly(around 80% of my normal game) and getting more confident in my stroke. A couple of times I had to use a power stroke and it was like a laser. I popped the ball in the hole. I had my second set of eyes looking at my stroke from behind and she said the chicken wing is gone. A couple more months of this and I think I got it.

Running 4 balls or 4 racks? Either way, remember exactly what mechanics you are using, EVERYTHING, foot placement, how far your cue is from your body, etc. Get all the details of it and WRITE THEM DOWN!! For the next few weeks check off this list and make sure you are still doing everything. Believe me, you would be amazed at how easy it is to forget alot of this stuff, or unintentionally alter some of it days or weeks down the road. Hope your game goes up and up, good luck.
