Stratford Cues

Does anyone have any info regarding some of the older model Stratford cues? Where they were made, quality, etc.? I have a 4 point 4 veneer w/ MOP which looks to be a well made cue, but I suspect it's at least 20 years old. Want to know more before I put any money into it for wrap, refinish, etc. Thanks

Stratford was an entry level, Asian import cue that were pretty inexpensive. If it is still solid it might play fairly well but I wouldn't invest much loot in it.

They were made in Taiwan and were pretty decent cues. They were a cut above a lot of the cues coming from there, but nothing real special.
