Streaming on Facebook vs Youtube

I got frustrated with Facebook streams when the European Open happened and now again with the stream from Turning Stone.

I appreciate a lot, what UpstateAl is doing! But this time at Turning Stone, it seemed like more people got frustrated just as I did. There wasn't always a working link. Some saw a link, some others did not. For me, it seemed to work whenever I logged into Facebook on my Desktop, but never when I went to Facebook on my phone.

Now, Facebook is not a video platform first. It's goal is to keep you engaged and find new stuff, so, it's suggesting things to you. Seemed like not everybody was suggested the right comment with the right link.

Wouldn't it be better for us watching, if UpstateAl (or anybody) would stream on Youtube?

When Matchroom did the European Open with one stream on each platform, my experience was: I always found the Youtube stream immediately, but Facebook was always more frustrating to find the current one.

It was a similar expericence a few days ago for the Shaw/Strickland challenge match on sharkstreams, where some seemed to be unsure where to look, when does it start and what's the link to go to.

Not bashing UpstateAl here, I think he does great streams, has nice commentators in the box. I really do like his streams.

The facebook stream for Turning Stone this event has been nearly flawless. No trouble at all finding the link, logging in and out on multiple laptops via web browser connected to TV's and mobile devices via facebook lite app. I have no problem if a well done stream is done via facebook, youtube or twitch.
Marboys Billiards Cafe has some great streams on facebook from the Phillipines all the time with some great matches.

I have also been enjoying it on my laptop, phone and Ipad. Absolutely not one problem.
My Ipad and laptop are very old and the stream has still been fine.
