Stretch Index for other Cloths!

Hello All! I’ve watched the videos on using the stretch index on Simonis but has anyone used a stretch index for other cloths such as ANDY, CPBA, or any other decent quality cloth. Any insight would be appreciated.
What determines the correct measurement for other cloths?

Clamp one side and measure how far it will stretch. Back off 3/4" and that's your index.
