i had this bridge head that you could put on the end of any cue, i loved it. it was white with a black, rubber grommet in the middle where you connected it to a house cue (or any cue). it recently got stolen, i know who stole it too. anyway.....

does anybody know where i can buy another one of these? thanks for any help with this. i want just the bridge head, not the whole stretch system.

Tiger makes a leather bridge head (called the Corona) that fits onto the end of a house cue. Since it is leather, it does no damage to your shaft when you use it.

I believe Bob Dzuricky makes a similar product as well, also with leather.

thanks for the reply.

the reason i liked my stretch bridge head was because of how superior it was. there were more "options" on it and when you put it on its side it was much taller than standard bridge heads. also, the grooves were designed so as to not allow any lateral movement of the cue, which is essential of course.

not sure why the only good (or best) bridge head is the only one they dont make any more. the aluminum ones that dont even hold the cue in place and scratch the cues will be made till the end of time, yet a elegantly designed bridge head goes out of production??

anyway, any info on how to get another one of these would be highly appreciated.

They have them at Goulds up on 51st St. here in Saskatoon, but that info may not help depending on where you are. I see them on EBAY all the time as well and they cover some serious geography. But maybe I am thinking of another bridge, these ones are all plastic.

a pic....

thanks for all the input!

here's a pic of what i want, BUT, i want one that attaches onto the end of any cue by way of a black plastic dowell in the middle of the bridge (unlike the one in the photo, which you cant attach to any cue).

moosehead bridge is my second choice, but i really think these are superior. they are taller and give ou more options.

thanks for trying to help everybody. ive had no luck finding the bridgehead i want unfortunately. no wonder it got stolen, they are the best and you cant buy them anymore.

by the way, why do we as consumers support crappy products? is it because they are cheaper. i guess thats it. for example, did you guys know beta is far superior to vhs, yet somehow vhs became the standard (remember when beta and vhs were competing for the market?), and now tv stations and professionals use beta. WE COULD HAVE HAD BETA IF CONSUMERS WOULD PULL THEIR HEADS OUT. with all the high quality tvs out there nowadays, im sure MANY people would really appreciate the higher quality of beta. just so frustrating to see so many crappy bridgeheads and the best one ever made goes out of production.
