Stripped Shaft Thread

A guy on my pool team shoots with a wood to wood jointed cue with a 3/8x10 or radial pin and no inserts in the shafts. Part of the thread in the shaft stripped or broke when he took the cue apart. Question is can this be repaired?

Yes. Any experienced and qualified repairman should be able to do that job.
