I have never tried the pro shot glove, but it looks at first glance like it might be able to help. If you want to do it on your own, the best thing you can do is completely relax your entire arm. In order to move your wrist, the muscles in the forearm come into play.
When you are setting up for your shot, allow the weight of the cue to pull your hand straight down. Let gravity help you. Just as you need to have a completely relaxed grip, you also need to have a relaxed wrist.
