First off I need to thank my pool player friends and others who have expressed their concern and support to me...
I experienced a stroke last Monday (not the good kind!), and learned that I've likely had previous mini-strokes that caused a bit of brain damage (this won't surprise my friends!). Fortunately, I recovered quickly and am almost 100%. It will curtail my playing (after 57 years) as I MUST avoid second hand smoke, but I hope to continue giving lessons, as long as my students can put up with my memory lapses!

Sorry to hear about the stroke but glad you're doing better. Please do what you need to do for your health's sake. I wish Florida would follow other states on the smoking ban. It drives me nuts as I can't stand smoke. Take care of yourself.

If you're still doing all that and coming here to have discussions, I'd say you're doing pretty well otherwise. Keep doing your thing and take good care of yourself.
