stuck need help pls

Hello all and to all a happy and safe holidays. My problem is this I have a brand new pred 3k1 for some reason the shaft does not go in all the way it screws in perfectly till theres approx 1/2 inch left then it gets stuck. There does not seem to be anything stuck I have checked it well and have cleaned them both as best as I can with a little rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I have a friend who has joint protectors that do this. The is got to be a burr on the thread (female end). Eithe find the right size tap and run it through or runa pipe cleaner with a little bit solvant like WD-40
 
i'd say call where u bought it and return it...most of those dealers will take care of the problem.. those cues are not cheap and i'm sure they want your business and satisfaction...not to mention predator has some sort of warranty on defects... good luck to you

I agree with the prior post about returning it to whomever made the cue....unless you're good with tools, I wouldn't try fixing it myself with a tap...

I agree with the other Azers. The shaft probably has a problem. If you know anybody else with a predator try putting their shaft on your cue. If it fits you know the shaft has a problem. Predator shafts are interchangeable and the place you bought it should have another new shaft that will fit perfectly.

DON'T MESS WITH THE CUE SINCE IT MAY VOID THE WARRANTY!
 
Man, seriously. The only real solution is a tap and dye set. Unfortunately, this will also void your warranty, I'm sure. Just take it back, and save yourself a HUGE headache.
