Offered for sale here is a beautiful Arthur cue from Marcus Dienst's workshop.


Here are the details:

8 points alternating amboyna burl and ivory
Ebony nose
Points are mirrored in the butt
The Amboyna points in the forearm and butt have sterling silver veneers and 3 intricate ivory inlays in every one.
Ivory Joint with G10 3/8 x 10 pin
Ivory butt cap with Sterling silver arthur logo
2 BRAND NEW shafts from Arthur Cue with ivory ferrules and moori medium tips. Shafts are both 13mm and made from beautiful straight grain maple.
3 very fancy matching JPs made from ebony and ivory with Arthur cue logo on top.
Black Lizard wrap

Everything about this cue screams quality, the burl all came from the same piece of wood, and matches perfectly throughout, the inlays and veneers are perfect. The butt looks like it has never been used, but I cannot say this for sure. The shafts though I can say are brand new as I only took delivery of them last week.

When I got this cue, it came with 2 JPs and no shafts. I had Arthur make me 2 new shafts and a 3rd matching JP. Unfortunately, the 3rd JP is not a perfect match for the ones I have. This is the only thing that is wrong with this package.

Arthur cue

Very nice "clean" cue--a great offer. That is a lot of cue from a great cuemaker. But, still the fear of International Shipping to the USA. Best wishes with your sale, Paul Del Giudice "PVD1".

Thanks Paul, yes as always there is a worry about shipping ivory outside of Europe. I am happy to ship the cue as a $200 gift so it is very unlikely to be checked, but this would be at the buyer's risk.
 
The way to make it happen would be to wire me the money, and I will send the cue. Even though it is a very tiny risk that the cue might get caught up in customs, I am not prepared for that risk to be on my side. I have now shipped several cues containing ivory to the US without any problem.

use an "escrow" service for the money transfer, like marcus solt of fast_n_loose here on az. Marcus will not do the cue transfer which remains with the seller & the buyer.
