Just as there many different types of people, there are just as many different styles of play.
There seems to be a ever increasing trend not to consider this. One style of play is no better than another when the user can effectively use their style of play, no matter if it's not your style.
In motorcycle racing, getting the rider comfortable on the bike is key in going fast. Lot of how to set up a bike depends on the riders style of riding. What setup works for one rider will not work for another...all based on how the rider uses the bike.
As example, some are strong, late brakers into corners, some are not. The bike setup for each type of braking style is different. This means the bike needs to be setup such that it suits the riders style of riding and not force a rider to change their style of riding to suit the bike. It's easier to change the bike than the rider.
Same concept applies in pool. Just because one is successful with their style of play does not mean that their style is the end all style for playing pool.
