Sub Forum in the For Sale section request

Seems to me it would be really easy for people looking for things not cues if the were 2 sub forum. 1 for cues and 1 for everything else. I'm new here and I can't afford these cues that I have to see every day all the while I look for other pool related items.
 
I think breaking the for sale section up is a double edged sword.

If it’s too compartmentalized people will drill down on specifics too fast and not see other offerings which they might act on

If it’s a mess of everything then finding something you are looking for is a pain in the ass

It’s bad either way, so since this is pool and nothing changes. I’d leave it as is

I'll be easy on a newb, and yes i feel fine;): no we don't need of a second Sale section. I've been on here since the Rockies were just hills and no one has ever requested this. I think we're good. All you have to do is use the 'SEARCH' function to narrow your scope. I agree 100% with Fatboy, patron saint of the ORANGE FIVE.

Don't look.
There is a separate section for cue machinery and supplies, a wanted section for folks to submit feelers when they're looking for specifics, and hyperlinks to specific site sponsors.
Use a little elbow grease man!

It feels discouraging to see the comments. I am new here. I just made an observation and a suggestion to have someone new to find things. Would have been nice to hear from an administrator or site manager why it's a bad idea.
 
Simply my opinion, for whatever that is worth:

Develop a thicker skin, and you will be much happier here. Never beat a dead horse. All in all, this is a good group. But, you really need to observe and appreciate the fundamental nature of this place before complaining. If you would not do it in a pool room, don't do it here. Others may disagree.

Anyone care to help this cat out any further?

It’s not necessarily a bad idea because there is not spontaneous support versus questions and resistance.
However, it is also not a good idea simply because you and a few others think it would be a nice addition.

There is only one for for sale section and it has its own forum and a requirement that anything listed has to be
pool related with photos, description & selling price. This website’s origin is pool related & so let’s remember it.

If you want a sub forum for “stuff”, go to Facebook, eBay, Craig’s List or anywhere that fits your need or notion
of a flea market auction or garage sale approach to finding or selling stuff that isn’t pool related. That’s not Az.

If you are looking for something, start a thread in want to buy or the NPR Forum. If you want to post in the main forum, it simply has to be pool related. I suppose changing this website to add a new category is pool related but not really.

Your idea might qualify if it included adding a new forum that was pool related but since this new forum wouldn’t be
confined to pool, it has little to do with Az’s website aside from the fact you want to use this site to search for stuff.
