For sale is a brand new Sugartree cue... I am unwillingly selling one of my Sugartree cues. My wife is in an uproar :) This is a true players cue, the playability is phenominal and does not deserve staying in a case. My playing cue is also a Sugartree and the two play very similar. It hits extremely hard "like a ton of bricks." Test hit only, never chalked!
$800 obo shipped

Cue Specs...

- Quilted/Curly Sugar maple, very hard/expensive maple. Not to be confused with most maple that you find today. This is hand selected, aged and cured to perfection. Eric is very paticular about the wood he uses in his cues. His wood collection is very extensive so only the best goes into his cues.

- 8 inlays total (very rare for a Sugartree) He doesnt use a cnc machine for inlays, all of his inlays are cut by hand. He has many hours into this cue cutting the inlays alone. The large inlays are fossil burl wrapped around teak burl and the small inlays are redwood burl. All of the wood used for the inlays are filled with character. Cutting them by hand makes for very sharp points. They arent exact to his standards but they look great to me (check pics)

- Joint collars and butt cap are made out of cocobolo.

- Cocobolo and Ivory checkers at a,b & e

- 13mm "old growth" maple shaft. Standard taper w/ Sumo tip and melamine or Aegis ferrule?

- 19oz.

- hand signed

I have had a few serious enquiries but no one has paid up... The cue is still for sale/trade. I am really looking for a cue plus some cash. All offers will be considered.
Thanks

dpaulnot. are you still interested? The guy I was waiting on can't come off the cash right now. Let me know...

No I still have it... I have had some phenominal trade offers but no serious cash offers. I still will consider selling for $800 but I'm not up for any trades...

I believe if I were to attempt to speak for poolschool, I would think he was placing the value of the cue at $800, was hoping for a trade of say $300-$400 valued cue + the difference in cash. He got several offers of trade for good quality cues, but no cash with it, so he had to turn down the trade offers. Rather than having others offer just trades and having to turn people down, he is now focusing on the cash.

Since you are speaking for Jason, can you tell him that had I known that he was looking for $300-$400 valued cue + the difference in cash, thant's what I would have offred.

I was under the impression that he was looking for cue + $100 or so in cash and tried my best to do a trade in this range .. and I offered cash in this range.

now that I understand it, perhaps I'll try another trade + cash as my first offer was a straight swap as well.

check your PM

Jazz, Your trade offers were outstanding... I'll take the Viatorre plus the cash. I hope I didnt cause any frustration, its just not easy coming off of something you don't want to sell. Maybe I should have reconsidered before listing it here on AZ. Please send payment to poolschool@netster.com and email or call me with further details. I'll put the cue in the mail Mon. Priority. Do you want me to use the same address as the pfd?

Thanks
Jason
