Would like to play, but wow what a bad weekend to have this........It's the weekend of the u.s. amateur in louisiana, which will have a ton of events and players definitely from our area will be there.......Weekend before this or after would probaly getcha a better turnout

Thanks for the info. There are alot of events this weekend, however it looks to be the only weekend available for us......
Should still have a great turnout though. Good luck to you, in wherever you play :thumbup:
 
This is always a really great tourney!!
Not to mention, GREAT food, drinks and prizes to be won!!
Cue raffle, break contests, dunking booth, free Texas holdem!!!
Free cookout begins approx. 3 pm!!
 
Wow, I guess I missed this thread when you originally posted it! I've been looking forward to this tournament since the last one was when I was on vacation. I'm almost positive I will be there and I hope everyone else in the area (and more) will come out and join us!

This tournament is always fun and there have been some champions who have come down for it in the past! I look forward to finishing one out of the money! :p

Less than a week away!!! Did I mention FREE COOKOUT, happy hour open-11pm, cue raffle, break contest, mini tournaments, dunking booth.......

This tournament will be alot of fun... don't miss it!!

Come on JumpinJoe, hardly anyone comes from Houston for this event. It usually gets the DFW-area peeps and some Oklahoma peeps. Oh, and some from the Waco area.

It's a great, fun tourney!
 
Well, drat! I haven't done a very good job of helping you keep this thread bumped. Sorry. Been busy with getting grandchild ready for school and all sorts of stuff, this week. Next week will be pretty doggone busy, too.

After talking it over with everyone, we're not going to be able to make it to this one. Give us the date on the next one and we'll start making plans this week, unless it conflicts with something else we've got planned, which isn't much, at this point.

You guys have fun and Tracie, you have a great birthday!! I know it's the day after the tournament, but I figure you'll be celebrating during the tournament.

To the rest of you guys who are going... If Tracie gets on that dunk tank this weekend, somebody please dump her once for me!! Just coz. ;)

But perfect to drop a little coin at Rusty's. The wait staff is the best too. :) Come out and support the tournament. I hope to make it myself.

Thanks to all who showed for the tournament!! We ended up with 38 players. There was some really great pool playing today, and here's the results:

1st place- Dave Faver
2nd place- Adam Jones
3rd place- Daniel Herring
4th place- Travis Teskey
5-6th place- Tony Ewart and Cory Anderson
7-8th place- Chris Stevens and Alicia Stanley

Winner of the Odom custom cue- Terry Reavis
