Am I reading this wrong, or is there a bracket missing for the loser of Owen v Luat to play the winner of Schmidt v Broxson?

The bracket isn't there, but you're correct.

The loser of the 1pm match will play the winner of the 3pm match at 5pm and then the finals (single race) at 7pm

David Broxson is the one that put John in the one loss brackets by 11-4. It should be a good match and I hope that John prevails, but David is playing his heart out too.....
