Being a TD for a pro event means that you have to deal with a lot of big egos and you have to have a pretty big ego yourself.
The TD at VF is one of the few I've seen that doesn't favor the big name players over the lesser known players. He treats them all the same and he doesn't take any crap from any of them. He is very experienced and well aware of some of the very subtle sharking moves and he doesn't let them get away with it. I like the way he runs a tournament.

As far as the new location, I'm sure the tournaments may fill up but they may not hit the numbers they have had in the past until the hotel is built.

so when I witness him calling a match when a no name player isn't there within 15 minutes of it starting and telling the player your a professional you need to show up on time...but then later that same day telling Earl Strickland after he's waited 25 mins. for his opponent to show up hold on let me call him and then not understanding why Earl would be upset is treating them all the same? Nope..the guy is a douche bag looking for the spot light. he doesn't know shit about the game and should be replaced with some one who does.

I do know the TAP Dream team event is now sold out. It was expanded from 144 to 160 teams and there is a waiting list to get in. Also, I do know some of the singles boards also are sold out. See you all there.
