Super Fancy Paul Mottey

pretty cue but not the first time ive heard of P.M. using decals...

adam pm sent.

johnfan i dont want to argue with you so i wont respond... sry

Dave, if you didn't want to argue then why post these argumentative statements in this thread. I too would like to see some proof that Paul has used decals on cues like this. Also with respect to this specific cue....are these decals ??

I don't know why Chip is not answering questions about this cue but it is a chip not a decal. I would like to know what makes a person write a comment about 1 of the top cue makers in the world with no evidence at all, the only thing it does is make that person look like a jerk and pi$$ a few of us off.

Dave Sutton's statement doesn't make him look like a jerk, it confirms his standing of being the biggest know-nothing azwipe on this forum.

This is too funny!

This has got to be the funniest thread I've read in a long time. The silence from chip is deafening!!!

just what part is argumentative???

i said heard.

it would be as easy for me to prove now as for you to disprove.

i cant nor do i feel i have to

how many cues have you personally refinished?

i suppose none of you have senn or heard of cuemakers doctoring cues with marker to make them look perfect.

most cuemakers do not disclose thier little tricks of the trade.

the cue i am refering to had a accent border around a box.

same as using gold leaf.

im not bashing PM

i do not think it devalues the cue at all

You may not be bashing Paul Mottey but you certainly have made a accusation that is slanderous and liable againt one the best cuemakers ever.Yes,there has been some use of markers or fillers to make a cue right but I'm sure they didnt come from Mottey shop. I know paul will hear of this and read this comment by you and something like this could hurt his hard earned reputaion so you may hear from him or his lawyer.

lol ill be looking forward to hearing from his lawyer.

I don't mean to side with a guy who is obviously out to defame and destroy Paul Mottey:p , but that chip is one of two things; it is a chip in the ivory, and it has been filled OR it is a chip in the finish, and the finish took the drawn on/pressed on black lines with it. I doubt it is the former. It does not look filled in. If it is the latter, then those lines are essentially drawn on, not cut with a machine and filled with black "glue". If this was the case, you would see the machine cuts for the lines. Who cares!?!?!

The comment about hearing from PM's attorney is just precious! I mean the former comment.

...and the latter chip.

At any rate, what a stunning cue!
