Super Glue Finish

I don't think there is a better finish on the market than the UV system used by many cuemakers. No mixing, easy touch up, but expensive.

I have a complete UV system I no longer use for sale if any one is interested.

I used some really cheap super glue from Wal-Mart on 3 sneaky's. They were quite nice for about a month. Then they started to dull and somehow got "texture" (no longer smooth). I re-buffed and they went smooth again. Anyone have this problem with cheap CA?

Also, I use Mothers for buffing and follow with some polishing compound. Anyone comments on Mothers?

I've done a crazy glue finish on a SP and over time, the finish tends to "ripple" a bit. Not so much that you can feel it, but if you look down the length of the cue in the light, it looks wavy. The cuebuilder that showed me how to do the finish says this happens to him also. It held it's shine pretty good. I used the thin Insta-Cure brand glue with the blue label. It's distributed through local hobby stores that put their name on it. To buff it out, I used 3M's Finesse-It II buffing compound.
