SVB Banned from Mosconi Cup

I would like to make the proposal that Shave Van Boeing be banned from the Mosconi Cup. His team record playing in the Mosconi Cup is 8 wins 10 losses. I agree he is a great player just not in the Mosconi Cup. In fact I have seen him choke more times then make a great shot in the Cup. I formally propose Shane Van Choker be banned from every Mosconi Cup going forward and quit embarrassing the United States. Amen.

Hahah! It’ll never happen but I agree. Shanes great obviously, but his team dynamic is terrible for Mosconi. Mood matters in that event and him and Fedor are socially awkward robots. Sky and Billy are trying their best but Shane rather stay on the practice table alone the whole event.

At this point i’d take Shane out and put in Rodney, Hatch, or Dechaine to really put a fire under their ass.
 
I’ve said this for years lol I love svb and I wouldn’t call him that silly childish name and say he’s a choker With all he’s won but over all his mosconi record is not good. He consistently misses shots and blows outs that he normally doesn’t. I just don’t think he’s comfortable in the team format. It’s a different dynamic playing with people counting on you. Europe seems to thrive under That pressure.

Actually what happened is I tried to become a member 18 months ago or so and it said it was under review. I forgot about it until recently when I was looking for a shaft for a new butt I received. I contacted them and they apologized and approved it so here I am. Thanks for caring so much to ask an obvious question. Much appreciated!

At this point there's enough data showing he is a losing player, a losing player cannot help the team win.

The Mosconi Cup is a circus and not serious pool (who thought races to 5 was a good idea??). SVB is a deadly serious pool player, so I agree he's not a good fit. Personally, I believe he simply can't psych himself up for a race to 5 in that atmosphere...often playing with a partner no less.

You are right but I would rather see some younger players get time in the Cup than Shave Van Choker. If we are going to lose put Sofia or Savannah in there to get experience. Shane's got to go!
