switch from predator cue to a OB cue a step back or same level

Thanks for all the opinions. If I decide to try OB a cue I feel good about being close to the same just a softer feel. I appreciate the help

Thanks for the reply, I assume these issues were with the wooden ferrules?

The cue maker I spoke with regarding this matter did not specify if it was just the wooden type ferrules or all ferrules. I will be purchasing an OB-Pro shaft that is fitted with a short white plastic ferrule. I have shot with one recently and was impressed with its rigidity and snappy crisp hit. My kind of shaft for sure.

Both are good products, just a matter of personal preference. I tested a number of LD shafts and it came down to the Z2 and OB2. Not much difference. OB is made in the USA so I went with them. My cues have two different pin sizes so I have 4 OB2 shafts.
