I wanted blue veneers for soooooo long and could not be happier. That guy Chad McLennan builds sick cue, I am truly impressed with points, woods, finish, balance, hit, feel- EVERYTHING

I have never seen better wrap job, I cannot find a seam, like wtf!- was installed by Paul Fanelli, I understand now why his cues worth so much just looking at this wrap

1 shaft with short IvorX ferrule- rings match perfectly which I have not seen ofter even on high end cue. and has awesome compression fit when screw it together with butt

Butt is 29.25+29.5= 58.75" (love a bit longer cue)

Butt weight is 15.77, Shaft weight is 3.89, Total weight 19.6oz

Ah, that's my cue. Chad exceeded my expectations on every count, and as you mentioned, Paul Fanelli wrapped the cue flawlessly.

I really like that cue.. chad did an amazing job.. Is he still
Making cues ? He used to be on the forum all the time ..

Anyways, I really like the wrap.. Is it boars hide ?

I had a Scruggs once with boars hide and I really liked it.. Deffinatly would like to get it on another cue..

I love that style cue. You can't beat points and veneers that are executed that well. Chad did a great job building that cue and congrats to the new owner!

you did not want to sell me your Klein with blue veneers so I had to improvise!!

not sure if he is still making cues, but with his work I would love to order something with my design- hopefully I can find him when I am ready

Wrap is great too- not Cortland or EE(my favourite choice but I like it too)

I think you made a great choice !
Unfortunately for everyone, the Steve Klein isn't going anywhere
Anytime soon.. :)

Just a quick FYI since the question was asked I,m still around (Chad McLennan) I moved back I'm 2010 and have been to busy with work to get new shop built/completed but just installed heat and air and hope to start moving equipment in a few months and will take me a little while to get things set back up like before but I'll be back finishing up old work and making new soon

And I love making OLD school cues like this one the art is in it's simplicity
And function

If I remember right this cue was apart of a set and this is the plain jane of the two

Take care
Chad

Mel......those veneers are beautiful,,,,,I wish I had that color blue on my cue being made.......elegant and stunning.

Can't wait to see more stuff from Chad. He appeals to me even more now after reading how much he likes the design of old school cues.
The classics never go out of style..........I mean no one goes around singing or humming U2 Christmas songs........keep up the great work Chad.
