Hi all
Here is a nice opportunity for someone with a Szamboti or other cue with this type of ringwork. It's a hand made set of Joint Protectors (Cue Caps) made by the great Alton Takata himself for one of my Szamboti cues.
Thread is 5/16-14 and the ringwork is classic maple/teal stitch. There is one JP for a butt and 6 (Yes.....6) shaft joint protectors. All the black is ebony. Three of the shaft protectors have a slightly darker maple stitch than the other three, like an aged vibe for an earlier cue such as a Gus or an early Barry. You can see it in the pics.
