Allow this to be a friendly reminder to us all:
Take care of your health: light exercise, get some sun, intelligent nutrition,
don't drink (I don't care what the "experts" say: alcohol is POISON in the body),
don't smoke (never: if you think "weed" or "vaporizing" are harmless, you're fooling yourself),
and get plenty of regular sleep.
I'm not saying Efren didn't care about his health, but the pool lifestyle no doubt, got in the
way at times to that end. Always been a fan of Efren. Always will. Long-live the "Magician."

I could be wrong, but I thought Efren got Lasik eye surgery... as for the other health concerns, I agree with Boogeyman, you gotta take care of yourself. I think Efren lost all his teeth, he has only soft food now. The wheels come off for everybody with age, it sucks.
BUT, I saw him playing rotation at Hard Times in L.A. and I've never seen anyone move the cue ball, bump balls, creating shots where there weren't any, like Efren.
