I've emailed this as requested to Mainstreet Productions, but I figured I'd post it up here too! I hope you like it, even if it doesn't win the contest.

I think the design is really nice looking.

One criticism would be the tag line: "Play like a girl." Not many men would wear this shirt, even if the beautiful Ms. Baretta's pics are on it. That would limit sales quite a bit.

Really nice job on it though!

Being a guy I guess I don't have an absolute monapoly on how it offends women or not.

But a while back they had a commercial on TV for some Softball champions. And the girl comes on going in a slow drawn out way. "Yeah... I throw like a girl". Then it goes to video of her winging the ball at high speeds.

It's suppose to have sarcasim. Which is what I think the artist was going for.

Hey Smittie,

It wasn't that the shirt was offensive to women, it's just that men most likely won't wear a shirt that says "play like a girl". Just out of curiosity, would you?

The fact that *some* men wouldn't want to wear it because of the slogan is kind of the point. In fact, when was the last time you saw a man wearing a shirt with any kind of female imagery on it unless it was some kind of derogatory or exploitative image? It bugs me that a man might profess to be a fan of female Pool players and yet would still use a phrase like "Play like a girl" in a negative fashion.

And don't forget Jennifer you have female fans too amongst the Pool community anyway, at whom this T-Shirt is targeted. Personally I'd wear it (or I wouldn't have designed it like that) but then again I'm a weird Englishman who uses "Aunty" as his nickname, so I probably have some issues ;-)

Anyhow thanks for the feedback. If I get time I'll try another direction with the design. (Doesn't say you can't enter more than once does it?) Best of luck with the movie!

I think you should enter two...one for women (because that one really is great for women) and one for everyone. It will also increase your chances of winning!
