Table cloth stretching/install

I've pretty much decided to go with Simonis 860 for my 8' table. I was wanting to go a bit cheaper - ProForm or similar - but think I'll just bite the bullet and go with the good stuff, since I'm saving labor costs by attempting to do everything myself.

But being my first table set up, installing the cloth is what I'm most apprehensive about - especially on the rails. I've done lots of research, youtube vids, threads, etc, but still a bit unsure about whether to glue or staple or a combination thereof, how to do the pockets well without bulges, and not getting bulges or folds on the rails.

I found this installation guide on a dealer's website and according to it Simonis recommends no glue, instructions only show staples. But I've found some threads that suggest not using them because they don't hold the stretch evenly.

Any advice or help is certainly appreciated.

Yeah go to the AZB Marketplace and order the Simonis install videos that Glen and Jay put together. I just used them to put 860HR on my sportsman, and it worked awesome!

Rellek, would THIS be the video you're talking about? I'm a newbie here so don't yet recognize the names Glen and Jay.

Those would be the ones. Glen is realkingcobra, and Jay's handle I don't recall off the top of my head, but he posts here as well.
