k-55 is the profile, most tables come with k-66. they are the same as brunswick.....so is AMF, vitalie, presidential and just about every other table out there. there is a company in tiwan that makes most the cushions out there. dyed a different color of who ever wants them. cushions are VERY expensive to make. Don Olhausen could save about 3 million a year using the same cushions as everyone else.
 
The profile is the difference.

Different cushions can also have different value. I believe that Olhausen Accufast cushions are the best. You can tell what they are because they are black. I've liked Superspeeds too. I rarely see thoe go bad. It's about the only thing Brunswick still does good anymore.

The bounces are different also becuase of the profile. The cushions with the best bounce are Lcushions mainly found on Snooker tables. K66 is the best for pocket billiards. Better than K55s.
