A few years back I asked a lifetime table mechanic what was the most unusual call or repair you ever had with pool. He told me he once was called to a youth church game room on an emergency. What had happened, a kid actually tried to get inside a coin op table to find a missing ball, once inside he got stuck, "pool table repairman removes boy from pool table" made for a good laugh, I also heard of a biker bar that had a 7' on a hinge, it would turn into a crap table once opened, and when the cops came it was just another bar table.
