Table mechanic in Reno area?

Does anyone know of a table mechanic in the Reno area that is capable of recalibrating rails on a GC1?
I can’t help you there, but who ever you use don’t use the guy covered the only 9’ table in Reno that I could find. He pulled the rail cloth so tight, when you ran your fingers along the cushion nose you could feel the ripples. The bar/room owner/manager seemed shocked his table was messed up.

Thanks for the reply jtom, I don't know who that may be but if they can't cover cusions right I wouldn't let them try to recalibrate sub rails.

I know Jeff Heath was working on tables over there but don't have contact info and don't know if he could do the subrails.

Jeff Heath doesn’t do that type of work as far as I know. You can try Jeff Purvis, based in Carson City, he’s a pro carpenter that works on all table types (and builds custom cues, repairs, etc) - but I’m not sure if he does rail calibration type work or not. Here’s his FB page. PM me if you want his cell.

Might want to contact Oscar Dominguez at Hard Times in Sacramento. He’s tough to book, but may be able to refer you to some other high end table techs.

Good luck.

Thanks phreaticus! Forgot Jeff Purvis did tables, I have a custom cue he made for me. (Nice cue)
I'll get in contact with him, and ya I thought about hard times but I believe Ernesto does most of that work and I don't think he spends a lot of time there. I really don't want to take my rails there and leave them for who knows how long. If Jeff isn't able to the rails I'll probably go with Ernesto, I know he does good work.
Again thanks for the reply!

You could get a new custom top from Jerimy Chambers and not have Table torn up for who knows how long. Give JZMechanic a call and talk to him about rails.

Two great options. I’d pick one if it was me.
