Madison
I made the trip to San Fran almost a year ago to acquire a 5x10 Madison. It was fully set up/assembled and the first thing I did was measure the pocket openings. They were 4.5 inches at the points. I didn't think to measure the shelf.
I've been trying to sell the table, but I'm having second thoughts after reading this thread.
As it stands I'd like to have a room with an antique 4.5x9 and a 5x10 snooker table. The 4.5x9 is the Stanford that I posted about (likely to follow this thread after I post this).
However, there is an amazing snooker 6x12 setup available in Toronto (see craigslist) for $2k. It's as new and is advertised as $20k when purchased. I've run into other 6x12s in Canada advertised at giveaway prices. I wish I had an empty hanger to set up as a pool room!
Maybe someday a custom built house will accommodate all my pool-related wants......
