Table Stencils

I received stencils from Aramith and Simonis to put on my table skirt but I’m unsure of how to properly install them. Any advice?

I assume you re referring to decals? Where did you get them?

I believe decals is the correct word. In my defense I’m 60 years old and apparently still learning English.

Well they are either simple peel and stick decals or decals with a backing and transfer tape

Where do they go on the pool table? Nothing wrong with your English but the term is so generic it could be anything. Does it go on the end rail, on the cloth, etc?

HUH??? He's talking about the decals like Simonis, Brunswick, etc you see on tables on stream matches. If it was my table i'd never put them on.

My brain somehow parsed out the "on the skirt" part of OP's post.

So now that I've seen that:

It's kind of like a phone screen protector. Don't let air bubbles get under it. If they do you can pierce the bubble with a pin prick, but you'd rather not as sometimes the hole, however small, can show up, especially on light decals over a dark base.

That video may be a bit of overkill but there are other videos. Use the dry method on a pool table since you don't want water getting into the wood. On a vehicle the wet method works well. Videos are good in this case, it's easier monkey see monkey do on this.

Thanks to everyone. I really overthought this project. They’re on and look great. I do see what another person had said about them potentially looking bad. I think if my room was highly lit they would show like bumper stickers but that’s not the case here.
