Did the installers claim the pockets were 4 3/8" wide? The size of a pocket is measured across the points, and new pool balls are 2 1/4" wide, so two of them placed side by side are 4 1/2" across. In your image, you can see that the points of the pocket are wider than the side by side pool balls. If the balls are worn, the actual distance between the points will measure even wider than it looks with the pool balls.

I was thinking the same thing. That’s what my friends 4 inch looks like

I measured mine point to point and they are 3.95” which is WAY to tight for anything except 1P. And these days considering that I’m 100% dead out of stroke, I want bigger pockets for 1P. I’m all done with tight pockets

Ironically I sold my GCI that was totally redone by Dave Isaccs.
The locals didn't like it, too tough to play on, I hope this owner has friends that can put up with not making allot of their shots.

It has been a long time coming.....I finally got a GC3!

4-3/8" pockets, Brunswick Speed Rails, and Simonis cloth. My installer also had the corners and feet powder coated which was a very nice touch. The next step is a new light but for now, I couldn't be happier!

pockets are over 4.5, closer to 4-3/4.

The older I get the more I like big pockets

And deep pockets
