Question,I'm getting ready to have new rubber & cloth put on my home table it's a Gold Crown 1.What do you think is the best size pocket opening ?I'm a "B" player trying to come up a notch.All my friends & family that play here are mostly bangers,I don't want it too tight to discourage them.

I recomend a hair over 4 1/2.
But sometimes it's not the tightness of the pockets, it's the angle of the faceings.
Please get someone knowledgeable to do the table so the rubber hieght is right and don't shim the pockets. Cut the rubbers to the right length instead of adding a bunch of shims.
