Aside from Brunswick, Diamond, Rasson. What modern looking tables come recommended. Have a neighbor that wants a modern looking table. No claw legs. They are not players. More interested in fashion than function. But they can have both. They have a decent budget

Thus table is very fashionable all for under $19,000

This “look” is what every new build modern house in LA has in it in the $2.5M and up range which accounts for about 80% of houses. Less & less new houses have pool tables as well. We look at 10-20 houses a week to potentially buy. Most have tables, old 50’-70’s houses. When they are renovated the pool table room is repurposed. Pool in new homes is ina big down swing % wise. Sad times.

Everything is 90 degree angles. Horrible things, but it’s what’s selling and costs the least to build. That’s modern pool.

I fear the day there’s a MR event in these things

I think they like the Rasson look or some tables by Olhausen. They looked at a company called White Billiards. I suggested to go with a brand name. Also they just got screwed on a online purchase … paid in full and never got delivery. No kidding.

Brunswick makes way more models than the CG or funiture tables but I would think the GC models look pretty modern, especially in black or white. The Metro table they used in tournaments is pretty modern looking but still well built for play.

I know you said no Diamonds but an all black 7 ft diamond is modern looking and 7 ft is a good size for casual players.
And for good players the 7ft plays better than most home tables. Get the league cut packets 4.75”, they are the largest offered.

I’m hoping to get that table for my nephew who is recently married and in his first house. He plays a little pool but I would like to see him get more into it. I don’t want to overwhelm the new bride by completely taking over the basement with a 9ft but someday we might get there.
