TAD scam

I bid on an older Tad on ebay. I think it sold for 1800. Since then I have been getting tons of emails saying I can now get the Tad for the 700 I bid.

I sent an email back saying I would love to have cue and would send check and pay all escrow fees at Proficient Billiards.

The emails have slowed, not stopped.

I am about to give up.

Ken, there are a lot of "Second Offer" scams going on at Ebay at present. Because anyone can view the bidding history of an auction (Unless it is made private) it is trivial for people to watch an auction (usually always of a high-price item) and then send fake Second Offers to the highest bidders.

If you are at all in doubt simply use send a message to the original seller of the Tad on Ebay itself. That was you know it is the right person replying to you.
