Well I've hit one of those un-avoidable slumps. I'm gonna try and take a week off and pick back up later on. It never fails though. As soon as you feel your game has bumped up a couple of notches you get dragged down by a pain in the hump slump.

I feel you pain...and was just about ready to do the "take a break" thing.....I could beat no one but myself...and was beyond frustration....
I read an article yesterday that completly enlightened me and changed my approach to the game....and ended up getting 3rd in an open tournament last night....(only being beaten by two 10 rated players)...Sure it was only a weekly handicap tournament (even though I am now usually the one giving up wieght)...and sure it was only 3rd...but the way things had gone lately...It felt like a win...
I did not play my best by any means..but I had some spurts where I was really in gear...and because of this article avoided the recently consistent "self destruction" cycle that would have basically eliminated me from the tournamnet long before 3rd place...
Basically...just keep searching for that answer that will turn your game around...
