Taking care of leather wrap?

I'm really enjoy hitting with my new Andy Gilbert cue, but this is the 1st cue I bought with a leather wrap. I'm left handed and always get chalk in my hand even though I try not too. What's the best way to maintain a leather wrap on a cue?

I've got a leather wrap on my McDermott that I occasionally touch up with mink oil and wipe down with microfiber cloth. I'd guess that any decent leather treatment will do the job.

i use a leather cleaner then followed up by a leather conditioner. both made by lexol, they work very well.
