Taking my show on the road, Gold Crown Picts.

2A in Wayne's system? or Fernie's system? I went from 2A to 5A when systems changed. THAT AIN'T RIGHT. It's a rating 'bubble'. Overly inflated.

Sounds like you stay too busy to play much. That'll work. Keep it going.

I don't play much these days. Stuck w/wrong rating.

We played in Tues night league at same time I believe. 3-4 years ago?

Take care.

I've played in Fergies tournament twice. Yeah, I did play league about that time. Locally alot of people know me as "Sundown".

Hmmmm......San Diego to Northern Cali.....Depending on what part it would be a shorter drive to go to Phoenix,Az

Any plans on your show touring through Phoenix in the near future??

Donny,

The next time you head north, give me a shout and maybe we can work out a stop midway.
I'd love to hire you to make my GC V as good as it can be.

I was in Prescott and Tucson doing work for Diamond. This was the first time I did work in Arizona in a few years. I pick up the Diamond's in Henderson, Nevada and I could probably shoot down there next time. send me a PM with your information and the work you want done and I'll get you a quote.

You are a true craftsman. Beautiful work.

Question about older tables that have been recovered multiply time. What can be done about the staple areas that have so many holes they can no longer hold a staple??

Thanks Donny

Thanks Donny. The table looks and plays excellent. I wasn't even in town when Donny was putting together the table and it came out wonderful. Can't say enough about the skill and professionalism of Donny. Even my Dad who was there during the work and is one of the worst perfectionists I know commented on the quality of the work.

In the end I am very happy with my table. The green looks great although getting them plated would have been the first choice if it wasn't so expensive. Only $100 to get all the metal powder coated.

Thanks again.

I had some Diamond table deliveries to Northern CA and I decided to take on a job that I normally do in the comforts of my shop. So I loaded up my shop tools and tried it on the road. It ended up going really smooth, but there's was the constant stress of forgetting a tool that can't be purchased at home depot. Here's some pictures.

I tighteded the pockets, new cushions, relevel, new cloth and final assembly.

SD, What do use the yellow strapping for? Is it to suck the slates as tight together as possible? Jason

it acts as a clamp. holding the slates together during leveling and gluing.
