Taking off the stain on the maple forearm

Will the color of the veneers remain if I use laquer stripper to remove the stain on the forearm?
Hi Leo
Anything involved in STRIPPER liquids and Cues is a very scary thing.
How much do you know about the cue your working on as far as it's construction?
Points and veneers?
What kind of points and veneers,
Traditional Vee method or floating?
Traditiinal are quite deep at the bottom but paper thin at the points.
Flat bottom are inlaid so they're probably deeper at the tips.
Ex of Vee points.

Part 2
What glues are used in the construction and will it break down with your stripper?
This has happened to some seasoned Cue makers who used stripper on someone elses cue. The points fell out.
Sanding might be your option but thier are risk that go with that also.
SCARY SCARY STUFF

While paint may be removed by a stripper as it lays mostly on the surface, stain penetrates deep into the wood and would require sanding. Depending on how deep the stain has penetrated, it may require a lot of sanding.
