hey everyone, like to give a shout out to Todd(forum member tsp&b)was going to purchase his tapper machine,explained to him my intentions were to shave down old shaft and retapper,and buy shaft dowels and make some shafts,well I was under impression if you bought a dowel you can tapper it down and be done,but not, apparently you have to let the shaft sit after first turn for couple weeks
,this man could have just as well sold me the equipment and be done with me,but HE DIDNT he just recommended to buy final sanding shafts,so the man convinced me that's not what I needed,and saved me a good chunk of change,AND I bought a live center from him a few months back and the bearing went up after the second time I used it got so upset and threw it in trash,he said he would send me another one . I do not work for him,or know him other than doing business with him,just like to thank him again
